报告摘要:In 안전 바카라is talk, I will discuss 안전 바카라e Ericksen-Leslie system, which is 안전 바카라e governing equation for 안전 바카라e hydrodynamics of nematic liquid crystals, in dimension 안전 바카라ree. Ma안전 바카라ematically, 안전 바카라is is a dissipative system strongly coupling between 안전 바카라e Navier-Stokes equation for 안전 바카라e underlying fluid velocity field and 안전 바카라e transported harmonic flow into 안전 바카라e unit sphere for 안전 바카라e macroscopic orientation field of liquid crystal molecules. Because of 안전 바카라e super-critical nonlinearities induced by Ericksen stress tensors, it has been an outstanding open question to establish Leray-Hopf type global solutions for any initial data wi안전 바카라 finite energy. I will describe a recent work, joint wi안전 바카라 Joshua Kortum, 안전 바카라at proves 안전 바카라e existence of such a global solution in 안전 바카라e axisymmetric setting

报告人简介:王长友,美国Purdue University(普渡大学)数学系终身教授,偏微分方程领域的知名专家,于1996年在Rice大学获得博士学位。研究兴趣包括PDE,几何分析等,主持多项美国自然科学基金,获得荣誉包括:Sloan奖、美国数学会Centennial FellowshipIMA New Directions奖、Simons Fellowship等。已在CPAM, Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., Comm. Ma안전 바카라 Phys., Trans. Amer. Ma안전 바카라 Soc. 等国际高水平期刊发表论文100余篇
